Flagship course

Treasury Control Studio

A six-week cohort that turns a financial auditing app into a daily treasury control habit—cash, exceptions, FX notes, and an audit-ready visibility pack.

Learning outcomes

  • Publish a defensible daily cash view

Reconcile feeds, flag aging items, and attach evidence without rebuilding the file each morning.

  • Run an exception cadence

Classify breaks, assign owners, and write reasons that survive auditor sampling.

  • Narrate controls under pressure

Deliver a recorded walkthrough that matches what the app displays—not a parallel slide story.

Modules

Module 1

Visibility map & data contracts

Inventory bank, ERP, and payment sources; define what “complete” means for each feed.

Module 2

Cash control pack

Build the daily view, thresholds, and escalation rules your desk will actually keep.

Module 3

Liquidity exceptions

Practice triage on payment breaks and aging items with documented dispositions.

Module 4

FX & multi-entity notes

Capture currency effects that distort treasury totals and keep them visible to reviewers.

Module 5

Audit walkthrough studio

Script, rehearse, and record answers against live screenshots and evidence links.

Module 6

Board-ready visibility pack

Compress control status into a leadership brief without losing the audit trail.

FAQ

Do I need a specific financial auditing app license?

You need access to a treasury or financial auditing workspace your employer already uses. We teach control habits that transfer across common dashboard layouts. We do not provide vendor software licenses.

What is a real limitation of this course?

Treasury Control Studio does not cover full IT general controls or SOC report preparation. If your gap is infrastructure assurance rather than treasury visibility, this cohort will feel incomplete—and we will say so on the discovery call.

How much homework should we expect?

Plan three to four hours weekly outside live labs. Week four overlaps many month-end calendars; we publish the schedule early so desks can adjust staffing.

Can our whole team attend?

Yes. Multi-seat agreements are scoped through Desk Partnership or a Control Cohort team note—see pricing.

Course reviews

“Module 2’s cash control pack replaced three competing spreadsheets on our desk. Module 4’s FX notes were thinner than I hoped for a multi-currency group.”

Wen-Chi’s rehearsal feedback was blunt in a useful way—I stopped apologizing mid-sentence and pointed at the evidence link.
